In my personal experience, the injection can sometimes be dangerous depending on where it needs to be. In my case, I had tendonitis in my shoulder and my doctor told me he was uncomfortable with trying an injection because of all the other tendons and ligaments that may get damaged in the process. So I went with the dosepak and it worked just fine. Just be sure that if you do go with the dosepak to follow the instructions on the back of the card carefully.
