Which Islands to visit in Bahamas?

Hi,

i am travelling to Miami from Ireland on 29th June. I will stop over in Miami for two/three nights. Which Bahama islands do you recommend for peace tranquility, great beaches and easy to get to by boat? I have 21 nights in total.

There are so many. Paradise Island Half Moon Cay, Grand Bahama Island, If you do not want lots of crowd/people. Check out Grand Turks. In Nassau, you will dock at Prince George Wharf.  Have a wonderful time, I can not wait till I make it to Irelend

The only island accessible by boat is Grand Bahamas Island.  The Discovery Cruise (ferry) goes every day and cost about $100.

It's not one of the nicest islands, it's quite touristy, but if you do your homework, you can certainly find peace and tranquility.   If you decide to fly.  Check out Eleuthera, Harbour Island, Exuma, Marsh Harbour in the Abacos or any of the other wonderful Out Islands.

Nassau is overburdened with Cruise ships and theme park type hotels like Atlantis.  Certainly no peace or tranquility at Atlantis.

Nassau/Paradise Island. The only way to get there is by plane, privatecharter or taking a cruise from Miami.

No ferries available.

don listen to them Nassau is to crowded to get peace and quiet. try abaco or long island . they r beautiful and quiet. plus if u get bored their is alot of stuff to do. the people are very friendly too.
