Which Italian City is the Best?

Im going to study abroad in Italy. I was planning to go to rome, since my school sponsers the university. However i can go to many other nice and famous places. Which has the best nightlife and good-looking girls? Thank you for all your answers especially since im spending a year there.

im italian and im from Genova.. little city in the north and in my opinion the best city in italy is Florence.. i want to live there... Florence is history!
