I plan to have a beach wedding in Jamaica in July. I have my eyes set on Negril or Ocho Rios. I am looking for an area that would be filled with entertainment, a nice beach, great food, most importantly I want to make the trip as affordable as possible especially for my wedding guests as far as hotels and flights goes.

  1. How long do you plan on staying? I have something that can help everyone with their expense, however, you'll have to see if it fits in with your plans.

I can give you vouchers for 4 day vacations to Jamaica.  I believe you can choose your hotel,  and best of all - all meals are included. Basically, you are responsible for your transportation and the taxes. Everything else is free.

Just email me if you would like any. I give them for free.

  2. okay... first let me say... any town u chose have a nice beach somewhere... even kingston.... my favorite beach is in robinsbay its a secluded place though... not much night like....

So for you i suggest montego bay because fairs to mobay airport is cheaper from US usually.  Ocho and Negril mean a 1.5 hour bus ride... however if u can get this included in your hotel package then u set.  Megril has a big regga party in July that is world renound... so book early or the place "sell off"

Now Ochi has the widest options... somewhere like sandals dunns river is good and close enough to all the attractions.  it has lots of tours and a range of cuisine options.   An all inclusive will give you all your meal choices though and they would do the beach wedding for free.

Negril is good too... it has a more hippie vibe to it and with peak tourist time u might get lots of liberal 20 somthings not a family place usually... all the kingstonians will also be there having loads of parties...at some point  so it may be a bit wilder.

each of these places have a margaritaville and other clubs.  the all incl hotels will have there own clubs and entertainment

Any tourist town will cost the same... if your going to mingle with the people... here is a trick... dont ask them where to go for food... ask them where they eat! you get two diffrent answers... where they eat is cheaper and good where they recommend is more expensive with more ambiance!

If you talk to a sandals, sunset beach resort, breaches, or superclubs they have properties in those places.  these are all inclusives and they will give u a great rate for groups u can ask about transport from the airport, wedding organiser (usually free) etc.

    Congratulations!!

    its going to be beautiful!

if you want to know the sessions (that is parties) planned go to whatsonjamaica.com  they usually have info months in advance!!
