  1. Sony generally has better features in Televisions than Sharp. That said it is all on your preference as well. What features are you looking for in an LCD TV, 1080i or 1080p, etc. Make sure you want an LCD and not a Plasma or a DLP as well. LCDs work well in all light situations where Plasma screens need to be away from direct sunlight from windows due to glare.

  2. I would say Sony ,but if you want something with better picture than those I would say LG no offense to Sony or Sharp, I just like the picture on the LG tvs better but thats just my opinion

  3. In a 32" LCD, for the best performance AND reliability, it's a virtual tie for No.1 between Sony and Panasonic. Buy the one with the combination of best price and best warranty. If these are too expensive for you, next is the Toshiba, followed by the Sharp 720p/1080i - and both of these are quality HDTVs, just a notch below the Panasonic and Sony. Sharp also makes a 1080p 32" - it's a marketing ploy, and no need to spend the extra, as mere mortals can't tell the difference between 1080p and 720p/1080i, in a screen size under 46"-50".

  4. Depending there HD quality... Check with ur local sales person on the HD and HDMi Quality and resolution, I should say both are extremly well and reliable!

  5. Those are both very good brands, I think it would be a matter of personal preference, and comparing features between models.
