Based on suggestions to purchase a new LCD TV locally as opposed to online, which certainly does make a lot of sense on such a purchase, I've found the following at Circuit City that I can pickup locally (I compared prices on Best Buy, Office Depot, etc and Circuit City seems to have the best deals):

The first is for a Toshiba Regza 47" LCD for $1200 and the second is for a LG 42" LCD HDTV for $1000. Both are 1080p. One thing I noticed is that the Toshiba has 8ms response time and LG has 5ms response time. I'm not too sure how significant that is. Does anyone has any suggestions or advice on which to get?
To me it looks like a the main difference is $200 for an extra 5", but then again I don't know what most of the specs mean!
