Preferably somewhere around $1500 and 32"+.

Thanks!

  1. The very best 32" LCD in both performance and reliability is a virtual tie between Panasonic and Sony. For a few bucks less, look at the very good Toshiba, and maybe the Sharp 720p. And you will get all of them for less than $1500.

The suggestion for Westinghouse shows a total lack of understanding of the current TV situation. Stay away from brand names you've never heard of before, or have only heard of the last couple of years, like Ilo, Insignia, Element, Durabrand, and Vizio, and brands you associate with cameras, appliances, and cheap electronics, like Polaroid, Westinghouse, RCA, and Sanyo. 2. how about Westinghouse 42-inch 1080p Flat Panel LCD HDTV..The picture is stunningly crisp and clear on it. The native resolution is 1,920X1,080, so high-definition content is presented at 1,080p for a exceptionally detailed picture.

A decent deal for it is only $997..You can have a look. Hope it helps.

  3. Currently the best LCD out there is the LN-40A650 by Samsung, definitly the best "Bang for your Buck".... it looks INCREDIBLE with the 360/PS3 and Blueray! and pretty much anything else...

Cnet.com just gave the 52 inch version an 8.0 ratingmaking it their best rated LCD tv!! The picture quality is amazing!

It has 1080p, 120hz, 50:000:1 Contrast ratio, 4ms Response time, Game/movie/sports modes.. pretty much all the latest goodies to look for in an LCD

Currently BeachCamera.com is selling the 40 inch A650 for around 1500

(you might be able to find it for less by searching sites like pricegrabber)

Anyway, I HIGHLY suggest the LN40A650

    Good luck!
