Which Land turtle to get?

I want to get a land turtle but I dont know which one to get. I want one thats easy to take care of and one thats small and stays small but not to small. Which one do I choose?

you can get a russian tortoise. they are very popular and stay pretty small. or some kind of box turtle like a ornate.

yeah a russian tortoise, and a box turtle are best and easiest to keep. But do keep in mind that all tortoises need a large enclosure, with lots of light, preferably sunlight and heat. Choosing to keep a tortoise inside is ok, but you need to provide heating and lighting of your own too, which costs up to $100, and also at least a 50 gallon tank.
