Which Lessons do i have to take to become a doctor?

I am in yr 9 and will be picking my options next may.

i want to know which lessons e.g triple science.

i have to take to get the levels to be able to study at college to become a doctor?

Science, Physics and Biology for 100%, maybe chemistry too

If I'm totally honest as far as GCSEs go they're not that bothered!

because they will look at your A-level choices more than anything , as long as you achieve well in them there's no particular Courses you should be taking (unless its alevels - which would be at least 2 sciences/ maths/psychology- those sort of things).

BUT having said that you will want to go to a good uni for the this course so I would suggest you do courses that make you appear like a well rounded person!  

so you could do your tripple science but then you could do something creative like art or woodwork and then a humanities subject.

Great career choice. I want to do that too. If you're in the UK, you need to pick triple science for GCSE. You can get away with doing just chemistry and biology, as long as you take them both for A Level and if you take Maths for A Level too. If you take these 3, you need to get atleast 2 As and 1 B in your A Levels, one of the As having to be in Chemistry. You can also take the option of taking Physics instead of Maths for A Level, most would find this the harder option, but everyone has their own opinion on this. You also need to work hard and have determination to succeed, which I'm sure you have if you want to follow this career path. Taking up work experience at a hospital or doctors will really help you to get into a good college as competition is tough
