  1. The one with the right answers!  lmao

  2. A good start is the Princeton Review book ... it explains some of the mysteries behind the test very well.  The other books are also very good, practice, practice, and practice some more.

  3. I always recommend getting at least two books, as each publisher approaches the test from a different perspective (I've coaches people for the GMAT, and it's certainly true for that test).  It's not only the subject matter but also how to take the test.  You should plan out a number of months and spend 5-7 hours per week on it, taking practice tests every week or two.

  4. Take a course because it really helps. It not only forces you to buckle down and study, but it also offers you a lot of practice questions and exams on the computer.

But if you're just looking for books ...

Get the Kaplan books (which come with the course) and the Exam Krackers books. Both are great, and each approaches the MCAT material a little bit differently.

Also, make sure you still have all your textbooks ready. Neither the Kaplan book nor the EK books explain the immune system adequately. You'll need at least a basic bio textbook to explain it (assuming you haven't taken immunology).

Good luck with the exam. When it's done, you'll experience a soothing high that you've never felt before!
