  1. Bob Uecker. Proven fact, why do you think he was picked to be in Major League.

  2. id say the mets they dont babble all the time and they were all ex players so they no wut their talkin about

  3. Brewers

Bob Uecker and Jim Powell ROCK

    (i am a Cubs fan)

  4. I am biased, but I think that Len Kasper and Bob Brenley are excellent for the Cubs.

Pat Hughes does great radio, but Ron Santo holds him back.

The Cubs really need to get rid of Santo as the radio color guy. I wish they would have gotten Steve Stone.

Hawk Harrelson is the worst ever!  Do people seriously think he is good?

  5. Vin Scully of the Dodgers.

  6. New York Yankees have the best radio announcers which include, John Sterling.

  7. I'm kind of biased, but I'm generally impressed by the Pirates announcing rotation.  While play-by-play guy Greg Brown is nothing special and color guy John Wehner is still learning the trade, the rest of the team (play by play guy Lanny Frattare and color guys Bob Walk and Steve Blass) are all excellent announcers - they have a nice mix of baseball observation, analysis, and humor.  They also get bonus points for bothering to learn how opposing players names are pronounced, which is a failing with a couple of the guys that others have mentioned.

  8. Possibly Ed Farmer and Steve Stone of the White Sox..Farmer isn't all that great, but when complimented with Steve Stone he is brilliant, Stone is a great radio commentator and probably should be in TV..the combo of Farmer and Stone very very good.

  9. The Reds combination of Marty Brennaman or George Grande and Chris Welsh is excellent.  I like both announcers and Welsh as a commentator does great analysis even on the opposing team.  Unlike Jeff Brantley who thinks he is better than all the players currently playing.

  10. The Dodgers we have both in one VIN SCULLY!

  11. Vin Scully USED to be the best.  as somebody who has lived in Los Angeles for the past 40 years, ive heard quite a bit of Scully.  it used to be great to listen to him do Dodger games ..... but now hes just a senile old man who should have hung them up years ago.  he doesnt have a clue whats going on in the game half the time now a days.  he tells the same stories over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again ...... and the worst part is that he tells them as if he hasnt said the story for the past five games.  like Keith Jackson in college football, Scully has stayed in the business too long.

that being said, it will be VERY strange to hear somebody else do Dodger games.

  12. "Hawk" Harrelson from the Chicago White Sox. He's the best.

  13. Mets. They have Gary Cohen, Keith Herandez, Ron Darling, and Kevin Burkhart
