Which Make-Up Is BEST In Your Opinion? *WILL pick Best Answer!!?

Kay, so I just want a light-medium coverage foundation for my nose, under-eye concealer/sun protection, and a pressed powder (I have pretty good skin already, like No acne, etc. but it makes me feel better and have a more even skin tone when I wear a light foundation and pressed powder {or maybe mineral powder}.) So I was wondering.....

- Which brand foundation, powder, sun protection, etc. do you use?

- Does the make-up apply well and look great after-wards?

- Which products do YOU like best/which ones' would you recommend I get??

- Just feel free to add ANYTHING! Websites, etc., etc. lol

Thanks SO Much!

  1. Hello! :)

For foundation I like to use Whipped Cover Girl True Blend, It works really well. It applies well, blends well and it doesn't leave those pesky lines on your jaw! lol. For powder, I don't know what price your looking for... but I like Sephora: Guerlain Meteorites illuminating pressed powder. It works very well and I love it! It's quite on the expensive side though. If you want something cheaper I would try Clinique pressed powder. I haven't tried it but I've heard good things about it!

All of the products apply well and look great. They are also REALLYYYYYY light weight, so you don't feel like your wearing a pound of makeup!

  2. The best is Mary Kay, and has been the best in skin care and cosmetics for the last 14 years in a row and about to be the best again this year, It's not Mac or any of those others. It's quality and has been on the market for the last 45 years. MK is known around the world, check out this website.

  3. I'm not using foundation,, but i can suggest you to try clinique products.. they have really amazing stuff, both for sensitive and normal skin. They are a bit pricey, but they will def. take care of our skin better.

As for the powder,, i'm using Maybelline Dream Matte Powder... they are really great.... since i don't need too much powder to cover my face...

As for the sun protection,, i use Clinique Daily Face Protector (25SPF). it's of a great quality....!! you should try them......

and last but not least,, i'm using Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer.. they work really great...

  4. I use L'Oreal True Match super-bleandable makeup. It is AMAZING. You can find it in drug stores. They have this lense in the store.. you put it up to your wrist and there's different colors on it. Once a color blends in with your wrist color that's the color you are. It matches perfectly with my face color & blends in perfectly. It also has SPF 17. Once you know your shade it gives you a number (for ex, W2) and it matches you with your liquid foundation, powder, concealer and blush. http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... , http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... and http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... so you know what they look like.

  5. OK!

Bare Escentuals is by far the best makeup i have ever used!

    http://www.bareescentuals.com/

It is a mineral makeup that is light and flawless.

You can buy a kit for like $60 that has a foundation like product with a powder and brushes and lotion and some other stuff in it too. It is TOTALLY worth it! It also last FOREVER because it is a powder and you only need a little bit of it each time. My first kit lasted me a year and it doesnt go bad!

Their line has everything and everything is fabulous! I love their eyeshadow and bronzor but like i said i use everything from them and i love it cuz its so flawless and it doesnt give you that cakey look on ur face like other foundations do.

Sephoria sells their line of makeup if you have a Sephoria near you at your local mall.

    Good luck!

Let me know if you have any questions

  10. I was a bare minerals user for 3 years but now I'm trying out everyday minerals, I got this free 5 piece sample kit for the cost of shipping - only $3. I've tried the semi-matte and intensive finishes now, I still have matte to try. I loved the semi-matte, even more than bare minerals. Bare minerals is shiny and my face gets just as oily wearing it as not but with the semi-matte everyday minerals my face stayed flawless the whole day. I'm wearing the intensive now and don't really like it because it's a lot heavier with more coverage but I don't have THAT much to cover so I'll be skipping that. If you have dry skin I would suggest bare minerals over everyday minerals because bare minerals is creamier while everyday minerals is just a little bit dryer. They have the same ingredients except bare minerals has bismuth oxychloride (the 5th ingredient) and everyday minerals does not.

The makeup applies well for both, a large kabuki (http://store.bareescentuals.com/Full+Cov... works well but a flat dense "heavenly" brush as bare minerals calls it (http://store.bareescentuals.com/Heavenly...  works even way better.

I would also recommend everyday mineral's intensive concealer, it works way better than bare minerals in my opinion. You just apply it with a concealer brush wherever you want to cover (http://store.bareescentuals.com/Maximum+...

With bare minerals I do need a finishing powder to create that soft look, but with everyday minerals I don't because it's not shiny. For bare minerals, I prefer the feather light mineral veil over the regular kind. I have not tried any finishing powders from everyday minerals yet.

I have never liked any other liquid, cream or powder foundation before and I have tried Maybelline, Neutrogena, Cover Girl, etc.
