Which Maverick is John McCain?

John McCain loves to call himself Maverick, and the way he's been gambling, it calls to mind the original Maverick TV show. The Maverick brothers were professional gamblers in the old west. McCain lives out there, too.

McCain gambles with Bush's US diplomacy when he saber-rattles with the Russians over the South Ossetia hoo-hah.

The choice of Sarah Palin as VP candidate further proves that when it comes to matters of importance, John McCain is a gambler. He just doubled down!

McCain loves to have beautiful women by his side. Now he has Cindy draped on one arm and Sarah on the other.

So, which of the Maverick brothers is he?

And, should we reward his double-down approach?

Funny, isn't it?  He is a Maverick if he leans liberal and bows to them but when he stands up against him he is just another cad. Hmmmm! I think it takes  guts and one is more of a Maverick to stand up against the secular progressives.

Wow, now there's a blast from the past.  I was 4 when this show came on, so I'll do my best.  I never liked Bart.  He was boring.  I like Brett, but he was a real con man.  Very clever, very smooth.  McCain is Bart.  Maybe you should have asked which Simpson is most like McCain.  You'll get more answers.  Mine is Homer.
