I am pursuing my MCA Second Semester through Distance Learning. I am interested in Networking but a complete novice to the field and don't have any practical experience either. I want to pass certification exams from Microsoft but don't know where to start and which certification (MCSE etc.) would be suitable for me on long term basis.

  1. Depending on your experience. I would actually start with Network + which is not a MS Cert but a CompTia Cert. It is recognized in the I.T. field as a legit cert.

It does give you all the basics of networking and a pretty quick cert that looks good on a resume

  2. MCP Certification

  3. start with the 70-290 exam
