Which Month has the best weather in Costa Rica: May,June,July, or August?

I am traveling with a 6 year old son and Plan on staying in Manuel Antonio & Arenal

2nd week of june. we have a week or 2 that it doesn't rain. we call it the "veranillo de san juan" (st john's little summer).

hummmm, let me see (...) between may, june, july or august (...) maybe you are lucky and may won't be that rainy, i mean these months represent the rainy season, actually, right now it is raining A LOT! but Costa Rica has a strange weather, for example, in this moment, mornings are extremely hot, but around 1 - 2 pm it starts to rain! also lets take into account the place where you will be (...) Actually the weather in Costa Rica is basicially the same during these months as this is their "Wet" or "Green Season" with frequent rain storms several times a week - but they do not last long!

And there will not be enough rain to interfere with your fun time in Costa Rica!
