Question:

Which MotoGP rider has let you down?

I can think of a lot of riders through the years that failed to live up to their potential, either by equipment, circumstances or just bad luck. Currently I'm disappointed by Nakano and Tamada. My all time let down has to be Biaggi.

Which rider/riders have you hoped would succeed but didn't?

  1. Chris Vermeulen has disappointed me a little this year. I'm still convinced that he's nowhere near his potential. But he is still fairly new, so I'll give him a couple more seasons. I'll stick my neck out and say that he's gonna be champ one day.

I expected Colin Edwards to do a little better. Maybe not champion material......but at least to have had a handful of wins by now.

I suppose the obvious choice for best rider to not have won a world championship has to be Randy Mamola.

  2. It has to be at the moment John Hopper Hopkins.

It was billed as the new Revin Kevin, but never quite got there. Maybe he will on the Kwaker....... then again......

My all time greatest let down was [ is ] Alex Barros.

He has never had the talent, never will have the talent, but still gets great ride.

Move aside old man and give Chaz Davies your bike for next year.

  3. colin edwards has been the one for me after that tremendous come back in WSBK to beat Bayliss I just expected to see him on the podium more

Tamada was great in Wsbk as well and I dion't know what has happened to him

  4. Got to agree with the above but blame Suzuki. not the rider . I'm a big j*p fan. rider bike tyre. but this season  as a viewer. PEDROSER bike built for him. the whole *kin game built around him. competition for rossi ????  Note the spelling without the capital R.  Theres my disappointment.     no race. but compensation.    Never saw that from STONER  . I must have been asleep. F M> the boy is good.

  5. Daijiro Kato!

  6. I'm disappointed by the teams actually. Both Yamaha and Honda are doing their best NOT to win! I was so angry the last time that I even decided not to watch the race...

I was a bit disappointed by Lorenzo. After he sighed with Yamaha he acted like he doesn't care if he is going to win the championship. In the beginning of the season he got angry when he lost and now it seems like he doesn't want the title...
