BATMAN movies are the best....all the way...they are more full of action and more fun to watch than watching spider webs come out of a man's wrist...that will be a waste of my money....

All of the Spider-man movies were c**p that completely ignored the origins and the drive of the characters.  Dark Knight completely embraced them.

Peter Parker was a smarta$$ skinny dweeb that nobody liked because he was smarter than his peers.  He went to the radiation exhibit because of that, not because he was tagging along on a field-trip - Parker isn't a follower.  The scientists there picked on him - even among the geniuses, he was an outcast.  

But he sure as h**l wasn't Dopey McGuire.

He didn't grow spinnerets.  If he did, he had the decency not to talk about where they would be - certainly not in his wrists.

Mary-Jane Watson was a silky red-headed tigress, not a pumpkin-faced ex-vampire with a bad dye-job.

The Green Goblin was, well he was Willem Dafoe, but he never wore a Power Rangers mask!  Osborne the lesser was a drug-addled psycho not some spoiled rich kid.

Uncle Ben was killed by the guy from the wrestling arena, not Sandman.

Topher Grace and Donna from the 70s Show would've made a much better Peter & Mary-Jane

I don't think they really compare...  Dark Knight, although it is a Batman movie, did not feel like a super hero movie at all.  It felt more like a study on human nature or a morality play.  The Spider-man movies feel like super hero films.  So if I wanted to see a good super hero flick, Spider-man.  If I wanted to see a good movie, Dark Knight.  I was definitely more moved by Dark Knight...

The dark knight is better. I admit the first Spiderman was okay, the 2nd was fantastic, and the 3rd was okay but nothing matches to 'The dark knight'. The film was shot in IMAX, great casting, superb storyline, great CGI, and the Joker was awesome.

Iron Man (only if we are going by superhero movies though)

Dark Knight was not nearly as good as everyone claims it is.  Yes, Ledger's performance in it is amazing!  Everything else about it though is sub par.

As far as the Spiderman movies go...  Pretty much anything is better than those movies.
