Truck series, Nationwide, or Sprint Cup series?

Personally, everytime I watch the truck series it seems to be wayyyyyyy more exciting then the others. The drivers take more risks, and the finishes always seem to be close and exciting. Only downfall is that it's kind of the proving grounds for the other 2 series so you don't see a lot of big names/full crowds at the races. But as far as the excitement it's always fun to watch to me.

What's your favorite as far as racing goes?

  1. With or without the big names, trucks have the better show.  But I kind of like the combo of the old timers who can still race hard and the young inexperienced drivers trying to prove what they can do.  I don't see that as a down fall at all.

  2. I love truck racing.  It much more exciting that "nationwide" or cup.  But I have to agree that I know more about the drivers in the other series.

  3. really all of them are fun to watch to me

  4. Have to agree. The truck series has the best racing. Just look at tonight's finish. That's what I call racing.

  5. Truck series wins, hands down. The on track action is better and the bonus is ticket prices are usually way cheaper and the crowds are a little smaller so getting in and out of the track isn't such a pain.

  6. I mean I like cup series alot but the trucks and even the Nationwide series fire things up a bit.

  7. because the races are shorter, and the trucks more aero-dependent (and easier to spin out), the truck races generally are a more "intense" experience - as long as rowdy doesn't run away with it and never come back.  the truck series popularity has grown quite a bit since both rowdy and mark martin started running more frequently the past couple of years, as they bring the "big names" back to the series.

but the mix of grizzled veterans, hungry young development drivers, and a splash of cup series drivers usually makes for a potent punch.  i have been watching them consistently for the past couple of years (especially if martin or busch were involved) and they rarely disappoint.  and the characters there are every bit as animated as those in the cup series, once you get to know them.

but it's a different experience, especially live.  the size of the crowd and all the hoopla that goes along with a cup race adds to the intensity of a cup race in a different way. and for many people, that makes up for the fact that the race is generally hours longer than those of the other series.

  8. Honestly, I had never watched a truck series race until last night.  I really like the Sprint Cup series the best, but will start watching more truck races after what I saw  last night :D

  9. CTS is gonna steal all the action this weekend ;) Count on it.
