  1. i would say kwame brown, but since his career isnt over i have to say grant hill.  he was the next jordan, but obviously that never happend.

  2. ???

    Where Micheal Ray Richardson?

  3. 6. kobe bryant... two embarrassing finals performance of shooting sub 30% would have to be considered tragic...

  4. Grant Hill

He was supposed to be the next great

  5. Len Bias.

  6. Kobe Bryant.

Like Jordan use to say "Million Dollar Move 10 cent finish"...that pretty much sums up Kobe!

  7. Tmac, the guy's injury has just destroyed his career, he is still good but he will never go back to what he was.

    GO ROCKETS!!!!!!

  8. Grant Hill- He was becoming a superstar but then a series of ankle injuries derailed him forever. It's sad

  9. 1. Isiah.

He's also the only one on your list thats in prison.

injuries got to #3 and #5, and that has robbed a lot of players... but its not tragic. they still get paid. guaranteed contracts. and hill is still playing.

Kemp just got lazy and fat but he had a memorable career. so did tim.

why is tim hardaway on there anyway?

  10. Grant Hill

  11. Got to prop up the guy who remembered Micheal Ray Richardson.

My pick goes to Maurice Stokes. The 1955 Rookie of the Year became a paraplegic after injuring himself on the court during the last game of the season. He had no savings and only had a one year contract. This was pre-big money era NBA, where youre just earning around $5000 a season, and owners could  fire you on a whim, not to mention there were no team physician or trainers. Stoke's wife couldnt even get him out of the hospital because she couldnt pay the hospital bills.

  12. grant hill, he was supposed to be the next jordan but with all his injuries he is nothing but a role player

  13. Grant Hill...........He was gonna be up there with the greats. He was a fan favorite, very likable, and had so much talent it was ridiculous, he was being talked about in the same breath as MJ that says somethin. Then he got injured and everything ended now if thats not TRAGIC I don't know what is
