I think some players like to play basketball, but are just in it because of the money (Lebron). Who actually enjoys the game the most?

  1. ok this is a eazy 1 Tim Duncan Case Closed Dude Just Cares About The Game Not The Money

  2. you cant judge anyone without knowing them

  3. Tim Duncan hes the guy who took less money so that he could play basketball for a good team...

If you are taking less money like that, you must def. like the game, especially if you are as good as Duncan is.

  4. I'll say Dwight Howard every time I see him play it looks like he is just out there having fun.

  5. KG, maybe Iverson but I don't quite think so

    Also, SHAQ!!!

    What about T-Mac

    I personally like Nash

  6. A.I

    Carmello

    Baron Davis

  7. How do you know Lebron is just in it for the money? Are you his bestfriend or something? Do you know him personally?

  8. Leon Powe

before he used to live in the street and he couldn't even go to school cause he had to take care of his brothers and when he went to school he was playing very good

  9. I'd say Kobe.

Obviously, there is no way to really know, and this is very subjective but if I had to guess, Kobe would be my answer.

When people love a sport, they work hard at it- and since I've seen footage from Kobe ever since he was a rookie to now, I can tell you that he's certainly worked very hard to become better.

Kobe has the best footwork in the league, and some of the greatest footwork of all time, without question.

He has a series of jab steps, the turnaround fadeaway in the post where he creates space by pivoting, the fake to each side in the post, which gets the defender up in the air, and he then goes under him, the spin-move fadeaway on the baseline (which he has perfected), etc.

His array of moves out in the perimeter and in the post are astonishing- to get that kind of footwork, a player has to work unbelievably hard, and obviously have a great love for the game.

    Here's a video, which illustrates Kobe's footwork: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4TPY-PHs...

I remember hearing that when Kobe was a kid in Italy, he'd get videos of the Showtime Lakers with Magic, and then he'd go outside and try to emulate the moves himself- that's how much he loved the game, even when he was young.

Not to mention, the defense he plays- he puts in the effort there too, is one h**l of a man defender: why?

Because he loves the game, wants to be the best he can at it, and understands unlike many players that defense is key to winning.

And to add, Kobe is equally proficient with both hands- left or right: he can finish with both, and earlier in his career, he would often use a lefty hook in the lane: to be that good with both hands is amazing.

Why did Kobe practice to the point where is he is essentially ambidextrous on the basketball court?

I'd say because of his love for the game, his desire to be as good as he can be at what he loves.

Kobe often comes in with a different body type each year by training hard during the summer- in 05-06, he got bigger, added muscle, so he could play in the post more (which he did that year and was a big part of why he scored 35 points per game that season).

Then, before last season, he noticed his defense was slipping: so he worked out in the summer, lost some weight (he got down to 200 pounds- the lightest he had been since he was a rookie), and got back some of the lateral quickness for defense which any player naturally loses as they get older.

So, yeah, Kobe's skill and the effort he obviously had to put in to have the great footwork he has today, the handles, the quick lateral speed defensively, and his off-season workouts is a testament to his love for the game of basketball.

  10. i think Gilbert Arenas. he said he would take a pay decrease in order to resign certain players to his team. thats a love for the game and team.

  11. who knows?

  12. about dwight i dont think he is always having fun but i think he just likes to naturally smile. i think like a older guys enjoy it more like jason kidd or like derick fisher because they are out fuel soon but they still get to play with the athletic superstars

  13. Well, I think everyone who's willing to risk the time of going to a decent law school or medical school, takes the risk of playing in the game. No athlete plays games because they like it less than the money.
