I'm looking for value in my 12 team draft (I'm the 3rd pick overall). I'm not one for drafting a QB early unless one falls in my lap. Please support your answer.

  1. John Beck, him an ginn have another year to learn eachother and an already good Miami o line gets better and they get a couple good recievers, (fasano, Wilford)

  2. Tony Romo has already had two gr8 years.  But I say this season he will break records. He has another year of maturity under his belt. He has all of his weapons back, besides J.J. Terrell Owens will have another great season. Sam Hurd, the uproven wide reciever is drastically underated. He will have a great year, unless good hands Patrick Crayton beats him out of that number # 2 spot. He has potential to become better too. Witten, Owens, Crayton, Hurd. Crayton gets critized although he can catch. So I think Hurd should be at WR # 2 because he is sick, and if T.Glenn cant play because of injury problems. Tony will have a great season!!

  3. I think Marc Bulger is gonna have a great year this year.  If his OL can stay away from injury problems, it will be a recipe for success.  He was a top 3 QB only two years ago, and I expect him to do well this year, barring any OL injuries.  You can get him around the 7th-9th round, depending on how far he falls this year in your draft.

Also, Jake Delhomme should fall very far in your draft, because of the problems he had last year.  He is a riskier pick than Bulger however, because of his injury prone nature.  He has two decent receivers to throw to, Steve Smith and Mushin Muhammad.  He has also been a quality QB in the past that just might be overlooked this year.

If either of these guys fall past the 8th or 9th round, I think they could be this year's sleeper qb's.

And I agree with your strategy, it is not smart to draft a QB early in a 12 team league, when the elite RB's and WR's go so quickly.  It is best to wait.

  4. To any people who like football, fantasy football kind of. There is this great new online game where you create a player of any position and customize to how you want. You can sign a contract with any team you want and play in games. It is really fun and its free.

  5. eli manning

  6. Breakout year:  Jason Campbell.  Solid OL, tons of wideouts and 2 outstanding pass-catching TE's!

    Most overrated:  Tony Romo.

    Best year:  Tom Brady

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

  7. 1. Go to www.mockdraftcentral.com

You can register there for free and enter mock drafts that either MDC have set up or members that have set up for public use.

    2. I actually got Ben Roethlisberger in the fifth round, which I think is a steal now that he has Limas Sweed as a big target in the slot.

  8. if you have third overall, look to get brady then peyton. Breakout years, i like Matt Lienart and David Garrard. Drew Brees will also be awesome. Stay away from Derek Anderson.

  9. Keep Aaron Rodgers under your radar as well, I think he is very comparable to Drew Brees, should put up Brees type numbers this year
