Which NHL teams have a bad reputation?

Question

It depends on how they play.

To me it's simple

- The Philadelphia Flyers (They aren't called the Broadstreet Bullies for nuthin')

- The Chicago Blackhawks (I never liked how they played against the Red Wings or in Stanley Cup 1992)

- The Montreal Canadiens (Some of the Canadian teams can get nasty and I think they play unfair)

- The Colorado Avalanche (They caused one of the Red Wings players to go through face surgery. Thanks for being a jerk, Claude Lemieux!)

Also tell me which you think which other teams have a nasty way of playiong

Detroit redwings.

they were very dirty in the 90's.

Slamming doors on peoples hands, cheep slashing by fageroff. I could go on and on.

Toronto still has the bad rep, so does philly. Dallas had alot of issues almost always around Belfour...

hey joe u kno that they have bin  call the broadstreet bullies  alot lately the ottawa game in 2004 set a new record in pim and flyers bench had 4 ppl on it 8 if u include the caoches and this year avg 1.6 fights a game the highest in the league.  but that dosent give them a bad rep. but wen teams come to philly they cant order room service or anything cuz the hotels fuc* with their food. that give them a bad rep.

Clearly you are a Red Wings fan, but I think Montreal is the worst because if I remember correctly they booed the National Anthem at a hockey game in Montreal once and that is not right.

The maple leafs. Cuz they ar the hockey biggest losers. They didn't win a cup since 1967.

I wouldn't say they have a bad reputation at all. They've had some goons and cheap players over the years, but no more than anyone else.

It seems simple to you because you are a young Detroit fan with a short memory.

Detroit hasn't exactly been noted for clean hockey over the years, you know.

Anaheim has a rep for worrying more about the play after the whistle blows than during play.

Actually the Wild, I would say I have the absolute least beef with as a team.
