  1. Teams To Bet On:

    Philadelphia Flyers
You’re probably not surprised to see the top team in the Eastern Conference at the top of this list but the Flyers have been one of the better bets this season.
The Philadelphia Flyers have won 10 of their last 12 games and are scoring goals at an alarming pace. Not only do they already lead the league in goals per game (3.48), they’ve kicked it up a notch in 2011. They’ve averaged 3.83 per game in 2011, which means that the ‘over’ is a pretty safe bet in their contests as well.
Not many teams can keep up with them so as long as the juice isn’t too high, keep betting this team the entire way through.
    Calgary Flames
For most of the season, the Calgary Flames were just a team that was treading water. They’d win a few, lose a few and hover around .500.
But just before the All-Star Weekend, things finally clicked for the Flames and they produced their best stretch of the season. Coming out of the break, the Flames are 6-1-1 in their last eight games.
They’re power play is working as they’ve scored a goal with the man-advantage in four straight games and goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff has picked up the pace, winning three straight while allowing just five goals in those games.
They are playing well right now and should keep it up after the break.
    Dallas Stars
It may not garner much attention but the Dallas Stars have 65 points right now and are third in the Western Conference standings, just one point behind the second-place Detroit Red Wings. Not many believed this team could be this good – especially since they missed the playoffs the past two seasons.
Part of why they’ve made it to where they are right now is because of their play in 2011. The Stars had lost four of five to finish up 2010 but have just two regulation losses in 2011. So far this year, they are 8-2-1.
If you’re still a skeptic, start to believe.
Their top-line trio of Brad Richards, James Neal and Loui Eriksson are each on pace for 30 goals. Their second like centered by Mike Ribeiro is also very productive. Not only can they outscore teams but they excel in one-goal games in which they are 16-3-5.
Goaltender Kari Lehtonen went 7-1-0 in January and outside of that one loss, never gave up more than two goals per start.
The Stars are a complete team and should keep up these efforts.
