  1. Do you mean 'war', campaign or 'battle'? we Brits talk about the fighting in Spain as the Peninsular War. There were large armies, many battles and important consequences. I don't know of any other series of events that were described as a Napoleonic war.You could say  that Waterloo was the most important  battle because it resulted in Buonaparte's final defeat but it certainly wasn't the battle with the most men involved. Buonaparte lost more men, more quickly in 1812 when he invaded Russia than in any other campaign and that was the beginning of his end.

I don't think there is an answer to your question. For a start largest does not meen the same as most important.

  2. There were 2:

His invasion of Russia where while he did actually conquer Moscow the Russians burned it down and he was forced to retreat out of Russia due to a severe winter during which most of his soldiers died.  He was then exiled to an island off Italy - I think Cosica.

The second was after he escaped back to France and raised a new army of about 100,000 but was defeated for the final time in 1814 at Waterloo by the combined forces of the Prussians, Austrians, and the British (who was led by a general named Wellington).
