  1. Wilsons Prom is amazing!!! But availability is pretty limited so if that doesnt work out, there is always anywhere along the Great Ocean Road, Lorne or Warrnambool.

  2. grampians & wilsons prom.

  3. Nowhere, 4WDs are wrecking the whole lot!!!!!

New research is showing 4WDs on the beaches are killing millions of small aquatic creatures which figure in the life cycle of marine and sea bird life. There is reason to believe that extends to forest areas and can be contributing to loss of forest animals and birds.

  4. try around mt Erica.it backs on to baw baw , Thompson river dam, and walhalla. there are lot's of tracks to explore ,good fishing, and plenty of out of the way places to camp . Moe tourist bureau should be able to help with maps. magic area ,snow ,water and mountains . have fun.

  5. The Grampians has HEAPS of dedicated 4WD ONLY tracks. From the 'tame' to totally crazy!

The Grampians are huge. I can't remember the actual size but somewhere like nearly 3,000 square kilometres.

The bush is scattered with LOT'S of free camping sites.

You can get details of the best ones, like by a creek and off the road, from the Halls Gap Tourist Centre or the Park Rangers.

  6. Grampians!

  7. depends when you want to go.  if you are a serious bush basher and want something in winter, i suggest going to mt skene if you are a good driver in snow conditions ,even in summer there's some great spots in the alpine national park,.  big river nat. park good tracks and good fishing and camping spots.  hope this helps ;)
