Within England....at this point in time I would say David Bentley's move from Blackburn Rovers to Tottenham Hotspur.

He is a terrific winger who can have an instant impact for Spurs.

In Europe, Real Madrid acquired Rafael van der Vaart, a very talented attacking midfield(Chelsea and Inter Milan were also chasing him) who in his debut game scored and assisted in another goal.
