Which North American University have a reputation for a good science program?

Hey, I'm looking for a list of US and Canadian University that has a good reputation for their science program. Also, if it is no trouble, which SATs are required for those schools?

Currently, I'm looking at UBC and McGill in Canada

The quality of science departments is highly correlated with the overall quality of a school.  US News ranks schools in the US.  Any school in the top 100 national universities, in the top 20 Liberal Arts colleges or the top five in any of the regional Master's Colleges would have high quality programs.  See the first link for more details

Princeton Review publishes information about SAT scores.  It also has a tool where you can enter information about your background and interests.  It then suggests schools for you.  See the second link.

There are many.  In the US, some of the top schools are MIT, Harvard, UC Berkeley and Cal Tech, but there are many more.  These are all pretty exclusive.
