I'm your average obese American (300lb) and a couch potato. I want to challenge myself to do the impossible: I want to prepare for the Olympics 2012. Certain sports like 100m running are out of the question. I simply don't have the body for that, even if I lose all the excess weight. What sports I could take a jab at in your opinion?

  1. Slobbing motionless in front of TV the longest time. First one to move, loses. The winner gets a McBiggie Lardy coupon. But seriously,  I think chess or bowling would be nice. I just dunno if they're official olympic events, but they do get an "exhibition" status, and one can get a gold medal too like in the 1988 Seoul Olympics Bowling exhibition matches, etc.

  2. Shooting?

  3. These people train all there lives for this one game. For a person who is 300 pound who wants to be in the Olympics you have to be one of the best in the COUNTRY. I would suggest:

weightlifting. shooting. the one where you toss the ball from the neck.

  4. Big Toe Wrestling

  5. Shot put..I think most of the guys I saw competing for it weigh more than 100 kg. or archery if you have got the talent.

    Sailing maybe.

  6. um... 4 years is not a long time 2 completly train and loose wieght for the olympics especially if your a coach potato but good for you!

swimming is good because fat floats better than muscle (no offense)

  7. It's a pity that Wii is not considered a sport. Otherwise, you'll be guaranteed at least a silver medal.

  8. Shot put

  9. archery! :)

  10. Your best option is to petition for the ability to accumulate toe nail clippings to become an official Olympic discipline.
