Don't you miss Prezza since he retired from the front bench? He needs to get back in the public eye, to entertain us all.

Perhaps an appearance in the Olympics might provide some light relief. What discipline could he qualify for?

  1. Catching the javelin or heading the shot might be appropriate if not how about fencing with real swords, he wont have one though, just his opponent.

  2. Prescott - former UK deputy Prime Minister (for those who don't know who he is)

Hmmm well considering his size and the punch he threw at a member of the public in an election campaign perhaps boxing. Then again seeing him trying gymnastics might be good for a laugh.

New event perhaps - the belly flop.

  3. Rowing

  4. Bull*hitting

  5. PIE EATING,CERT!

  6. Diving..

"Here we have the british entry jonathan prescott performing.......... the running bomb!!"

  7. Punch throwing

  8. Pie-Eating!!!

He would win the Gold for GB!

  9. EGG THROWING LOL

  10. John Leslie Prescott (born 31 May 1938) The son of a railway signalman (and Labour councillor) and grandson of a miner, Prescott was born in Prestatyn, Wales. He left Wales in 1942 at the age of four and was brought up initially in Brinsworth in South Yorkshire, England. He attended Brinsworth Primary School, where he sat but failed the Eleven Plus examination in 1949.

From this he arbitrated his way to become one of the most famous British Labour Party politicians in modern history, former Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, First Secretary of State and current Member of Parliament for the constituency of Hull East.

Objective facts: John Prescott became a steward and waiter in the Merchant Navy, thus avoiding National Service. He says he went to Oxford. He did Ruskin College in Oxford, it specialises in providing educational opportunities for adults with few or no qualifications. The college is not part of the University of Oxford; He did later attend the University of Hull when they were busy converting any building with a phone into a University. He was a very, very highly rated boxer (which is probably the answer to your question) but contemporaries felt he was too nice.

My answer would be "Olympic arbitration". John's (like I know him) rise to power has been a one trick pony. He arbitrated his way through impossible Union disputes to become the first person workers and bosses would turn to in a crisis. He stayed in favour with New Labour (despite it being run by upper and middle class professionals) because he was the only person who could arbitrate in the class war that side swiped the once socialist labour party (whether he should have is for you to decide). Far more importantly he was the only person that could arbitrate between the charismatic "Messiah" (Tony) and the brilliant Gordon.

Popularity now? They just tried to sell one of his Jags with celebrity status and it fetched half the normal value even though it had low mileage and was immaculately kept.

    NB.

I do not apologise for spelling in English. I am English and have a Masters degree in English from Cambridge University. I will not have an American spell check correcting me. Yes I am arrogant but at least I can spell it). There I have said it, lets move on and forget all about it.

  11. 100 meters running.
