Which Operating System is better?Why?

Its very difficult to list all the advantages and disadvantages.

I work in IT and I've seen first hand the issues with both Windows XP and Windows Vista. I use Windows XP Pro myself and have had no problems with it at all. Most people now are downgrading back to Windows XP cause it's a more stable Operating System. XP takes less RAM to run the OS and also less RAM to run applications so the more RAM you have the better and faster your computer. My XP systems at home both have 4GB of RAM and work fine, they have never crashed.

For choosing your os,its you who will decide what you want do more i.e programming ,game or something else!

windows xp is the best

runs faster

user friendly

all applications can be executed

runs on low ram

can be updated any time

well xp rocks when it comes to speed

if u compromise bit on it, n go for looks, with some compatibility issues. n have a good processor with 1gb ram then vista is not a bad option.

mac - too hard to use

vista - utter peice of ****. total failure, should not have been sold

there are so many operation system us avalble in the market like vista,xp. but i think xp is better. bcoz from all of the os.in xp we can install more software. bcoz it support installation of many software.like vb.net it is very easy to install in xp prfessional service pack 2 but some time it creaste problem to install vb.net in vista
