Palm TX. Definitely.

Long battery life (and I mean long, like 12h playing mp3, or 4 hour video).

480x320 pixel screen (great for movie player).

128MB non-volatile ram (that means even with dead battery, you don't loos anything. It's still the only one on the market doing that!)

312Mhz cpu, but don't compare with pocket pc, palmos apps are faster than PPC apps.

SDHC capable (2, 4, 8 GB extension card and up)

WIFI, bluetooth, infrared.

Light, and thin.

Often comes with a foldable keyboard.

Usually around 300$.

I own a tungsten E2, which is a more basic 200Mhz 32MB nv-ram version without wifi, cannot read bigger than 2GB sd card and a 320x320 screen. Good enough, but for an extra 100$ you get the TX with more cpu/ram/sd-capacity/screen and wifi.

If you are more into internet surfing and wifi, and don't care about non-volatile ram, you may want to look at nokia N800 or N810 internet tablet.
