Both are very good PGs with very different playing styles.

Gil Arenas is a Shoot-First PG who averages 25 ppg. with about 5 ast.

Nash is a traditional PG who looks to pass before shooting

What kind of PG would you rather have on your team?

  1. I like Nash's style more because it shows that he trusts his teammates.  Another thing I like about Nash is that he knows when to pass and when not to, like if its a tied game and he has the ball with the clock winding down, he'll go in for the shot instead of passing.

  2. arenas is a ME-FIRST PG.. he shouldve played as a SG if thats the way he plays. nash is a proven guru.

  3. i go with nash because he is more of a traditional pg and will surely up the stats of his teammates due to his amazing court vision and passing skills

  4. I like Steve Nash

  5. point guards are ment to get the ball up the court safely and then make a good pass to an open teamate, not to be big time shooters. thats what shooting guards are for. if arenas did both (shoot well and be a great passer), that would be great. i will go with steve nash because hes more of a true point guard.

  6. Nash distributes and makes more of a threat to pass it all around creating more opportunities but both are raw and if i was playing a game id pick Gilbert to score with but in the RL Nash

  7. nash

no matter how much i suck nash will set me up with the easiest passes

  8. I would rather have Steve Nash because he's the best point guard in the NBA and he can lite it up from the court if he has to, all Agent Zero does is run his mouth which its a bad thing but still Nash has 2 MVP awards over Arenas. Also the Wizards loses in the first round of the playoffs every year to the Cavs which tells ya LeBron James is a better player than Agent Zero all he cares about is stats. How many points do I have, as for Nash he cares about Wins.

  9. Nash

  10. Good question

But i think i would choose Steve Nash...yeah hes da traditional PG dat would pass first but...hes still gonna get you like 18 points. So i think he can score if he really needs 2 and is more versitile and dats good chemistry 4 your team.

  11. Nash will make my team better, so Nash

  12. i love watching Kid Canada b-ball. He is the reason I became a Mavericks fan many years ago, and i'm still pissed Mavs didn't try harder to keep him.

Arenas is cool, but Nash is on another level, and has the MVP trophies to prove it!

  13. Arenas style got that dude 129 mil so its hard to go against that.

Steve Nash is a point guard that makes everybody around him better so im going with him.

  14. passing-nash

    toughness-b.davis

  15. pg are suppossed to pass and the team usually score from the point gaurd's pass i choose steve

  16. Both of them suck at defense, but Nash is much better at running an offense.

While Arenas was injured, the Wizards got much more out of the rest of their starting five. Nash has made Stoudamire and Marion into stars. He's made Bell and Diaw into great scorers. Even Shaq has gotten some better looks while he was there.

Nash is also a better shooter. He just takes less shots then Arenas because he is better at finding a man who is more open.

Championship teams show that one man can't do it all, so I'd take Nash since he gets more out of everyone else.

  17. Steve Nash is a better point guard

  18. I'd rather have Nash as my point guard

  19. I am a Wiz fan, but I would rather have Nash's mentality which seems to be more efficient offensively than Gil.  I don't think Nash is as pass first as it seems given his assists numbers, as he is always looking for his shot while also seeing if another guy could have an easier chance at the shot at the same time.

  20. they're both great guys... i have nothing against them...

    Steve Nash

The two time reigning MVP. Hes likes to pass the ball often even though we all know that he can score. He's a good point guard, just making his teammates better and better. He always makes a highlight pass on his teammates.

    Agent Zero

A point guard that can score anytime, anywhere, everywhere. A player who can defend, can do the dirty work. He can play both ends of the court.

i have to go Agent Zero since all of you voted for Nash...Ü

what i like more about him is that he has the will to win. even though they felt short of the playoffs because of the cavs, he still striving hard to be better. i think that's his aura... his will to win. and even his not on the spotlight. he still go to gym working hard just to get better. hes an example of a poor kid just striving to reach his goal. and their you have it. His name is Gilbert Arenas.

  21. Steve Nash!! I mean I love Gil and all but he doesn't represent the PG spot good he barley ever passes, he should switch and become Shooting Guard

  22. Every body chose Nash. He is an exllent point guard.
