Which Palace resort is better to have our wedding?

Hi!

Which all-inclusive Palace resort is better to have our wedding?

We are trying to plan our destination wedding for May 2010, and the Palace Resorts look beautiful. We love their modern/minimalist style. However, there are quite a few to choose from (Moon, Sun, Cozumel, Cancun, Vallarta, Le Blanc, etc.).

I understand we can travel between the resorts, but I wanted to get an idea from people that have actually been there, and even better, who have had weddings there, to compare.

Which ones did you like better and why?

Most important to us are food and a good atmosphere for us and our guests!

Le Blanc looks the nicest to us...but I am assuming it is probably the most expensive?

i, stayed at the moon palace about 5 years ago, and i, absolutely loved it, its a little off the beaten path away from cancun its self, which i like, it was landscaped beautifully, and the complex was hugh. it was clean and very beautiful, and the people could not do enough for you, the food was excellent, the only draw back about the resort is, the beach, the water in that area is a bit murkie, lots of seaweed, i, love the beach but was disappointed in that factor, but enjoyed the large pool area. i, am going back to the riveria area in august this year , this time just my husband and i, this is our first vacation without kids for 23 years, yeah!!!!! they are both off to college!!!! we have decided to go to secrets excellence resorts, you may want to check them out they have a few differnt locations, we picked rivereia mya area, becasue of its peacful , more quiet romantic area, also with great opportunity for excursions, they do have a new resort that just opened in nov but its by the moon palace which means the ocean would not be as nice, so we chose riveria area instead. good luck and hope you have a wonderful wedding and have a long happy healthy life together

I stayed at the Sun w/ my boyfriend for two weeks, which was down the street from the Cancun and Beach.  The Moon is more secluded and farther away from strip and the others are in different towns/cities, although we took day trips to both isla mujeres and cozumel. The Cancun and Beach are geared towards families with kids. The Sun is more for couples although there were some kids just not as bad as the Beach and Cancun and the Moon definitely has the couples atmosphere.  I really enjoyed the Sun because it's near everything.  If I were you, I'd go for the Moon or the Sun.

Make sure you go snorkelling at aqua world. You get to ride jet skis around the lagoon and then snorkel at the reefs. So much fun!!! Very inexpensive!
