Which Pokemon is the best?

Hi, My 7 yr old has just started collecting Pokemon. Which Character has the highest HP (and what does this stand for?!) Which Pokemon is considered to be the best one?

HP means Hit Points.

The best pokemon depends on how the player uses it.

But I think Alakazam is one of the best pokemon.

It does not have a good HP but it's moves are good.

HP stands for Hit Points not Health Points

Blissey (don't know if I spell it right) has the most HP when it comes to Pokemon cause once it reaches level 100 it should have over 600 HP but it does have vey bad defense though thats why it has many HP
