do Believe John McCain working together with Sarah Palin and Cindy McCain will be able to turn this thing around----and here's why: John desires to drill here----drill now---and refine--(JOBS)-that's not the solution for long term but any and all helps---then he wishes to encourage the development of new technological breakthroughs in energy alternatives (JOBS)----he wishes to harvest the oil from shale (JOBS)---he wishes to harvest our natural gas which is abundant (JOBS)---it is his desire to Utilize and develop 'clean-coal-technology'---a great resource.(JOBS)----he wishes to harvest our own vast resources of chemicals that we have been buying from abroad---and refine it (Massive JOBS_---he desires to use solar and wind resources as energy alternatives (JOBS)---he would like to see more nuclear reactors built to provide clean affordable electricity that will be needed to supply our needs. (JOBS)-----now all these jobs mean more people able to obtain good-paying jobs instead os sinking in despair.----That's a whole lot of money that is staying here in America instead of going overseas that will get pumped into massive job growth----creating a broader tax base to ease the tax burden.----Sarah Palin loves our country and will help in every way possible to make things better for us! Cindy McCain has the necessary experience as an organizer to assist in the many necessary endeavors required to turn this massive job-growth into a reality.----please share your thoughts?

  1. Businesses create job growth.  Taxing the c**p out of them will force them to cut jobs and not create new ones.  Therefore, McCain's business tax cuts will create jobs.  Obama's tax increases will cut jobs.

  2. Wow, long question... but simple answer - McCain/Palin.

  3. i see all your JOBS...hmmm doesn't McCain own a (budweiser) beer distribution company? isnt that the same company that just sold out to a foreigner company? sounds to me like YOUR JOBS are still going over seas!!

  4. McCain is for outsourcing to other countries, so it's not going to be McCain that stimulates Job Growth in the US.

  5. The biggest cause for job losses is Globalization.

What Globalization does is make YOU compete with people in India, China, Vietnam, etc etc.

Call center?   India trains its people to have 'American' accents.

Computer programming?  Why pay someone 75k here when you can pay $10k annual salary and have them email the work over.

Manufacturing?   Why give your employees here health insurance or jobs for that matter....if China can manufacture it for next to nothing.

Free trade has DESTROYED our nation's manufacturing base, and Republicans have helped it along by ENCOURAGING the movement of jobs overseas.   Companies are rewarded with tax breaks for doing it...seriously.

This is why the economy in places like Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania are trashed....they are our manufacturing base of the nation.   These are the places that built the bombers in WWII and the steel to make our tanks.......they are gone.

Obama would change that.   He's wants to level the playing field.  Stop rewarding companies for sending jobs overseas and insure that companies are rewarded for providing GOOD jobs HERE.

Democrats at the core want good jobs with good wages, even if corporate profits suffer.   Republican's want corporate profits, even if it takes job losses and low wages.   Ultimately we need it to be somewhere in the middle....but the mix is off right now.   Corporations are making tons of money, but the workers can't make a living.

  6. I think we will inevitably be fighting WW3 very soon if McCain is inagurated..

  7. First answer was interesting...I was thinking the exact opposite...I'd put money on WW3 before the end of his second term should Obama be elected.

I agree with your assessment...McCain/Palin is the way to go if job growth is the criterion...and not just because of the obvious growth opportunities he mentioned in his speech. Obama's plan sounds good on the surface...stimulate consumer spending by increasing support given to the lowest income brackets...simultaneously increase spending on education and job training to prepare people for better paying jobs...increase taxes on the wealthy and businesses to pay for these programs.

The problem is that they are just adding another layer to an impresive multi-level house of cards they've been building in Washington for decades...and this layer could be the one that brings the whole house down!  The tax burden already influences the behavior of people in the highest tax brackets...and that influence is often negative for our economy.  The wealthiest people (and corporations) hire a team of tax attorneys and accountants (and pay them a hefty salary) to find loopholes in the law they can take advantage of by the way they manage their wealth (foreign investment for example). ...but those that aren't among the wealthiest...but are still impacted by tax increases on the middle/upper tax brackets (along with other government-related burdens) are often forced into decisions that are detrimental to the long-term health of our economy.

For example, consider my former chiropractor...earned a lot of money when he started and invested it in stocks when the market was booming (dot.com boom)...increasing taxes (and other factors) drove him to transfer his wealth out of stocks and into government bonds (esp. tax free bonds) before the bust!  A few years later, facing increasing government obligations (and ridiculously high insurance premiums), he determined that he was working 50 - 60 hours a week (and employing two people) and earning less money from that work than he was from his investments...and that if he tightened his belt a bit (circulated LESS money in the economy), he could retire...in his 30s!  How is that good for the economy? How is it good for the economy to increase taxes in a way that might force a great teacher to leave teaching because of the impact her wages have on her family's tax bracket?

McCain's approach not only keeps the energy-related jobs here, it also encourages investment in the economy by decreasing the tax burden for everyone.  This stimulates both ends of the economic spectrum...giving lower income people more money to spend and making investment in the economy a more attractive option for the wealthiest.

Unfortunately, McCain's plan may appear to increase unemployment in the short run...if he shrinks the government as he claims to want to do, there will be jobs lost in the government sector...but frankly, I think that's the way we need to go if we want the economy to be strong in the future!

  8. I disagree with you. I believe Obama is more likely to encourage job growth. It seems Republicans stifle the economy, not make it flourish. just my view.

  9. Obama will destroy our economy and jobs.

  10. McCain/Palin ticket. Everybody knows or should know (Liberals don't, by the way), that less taxes creates more jobs, because business owners have more money to spend then. They have more money to develop their companies to create more production...it's called investment.

If you're taxed to death, like Barack Obama wants to tax those making over $250,000 a year to pay for Health-Care for those who can't pay for it themselves (mmmm, maybe they don't have a job?), then companies cut-back on spending, trying to make the same profits they did before the new taxes, and won't have any extra money to pay for any new employee's. IN FACT, they start FIRING (or letting-go, put nicely) many of the worker's they have now, again to try and keep any profits they were making before the taxes.

This is not only FACT, it's also common sense. Anybody who doesn't think so is an absolute idiot. I didn't want to have to use that term, but it seemed necessary, as I was thinking of Liberals when I used it.

Life is not free, and neither is Health-Care. I know from experience.
