  1. Favre, of course. however, since Rodgers, will be leaving after the season and, Favre, will be retiring(AGAIN) and, Brohm, will still be learning, that will be it for three or, four years.

    congratulations.

  2. Aaron Rodgers does.  Trust me, how he played against the Cowboys wasn't a fluke.  Rodgers may not be as flashy as Favre, but he throws TDs, he doesn't throw interceptions (unlike Favre), and his mechanics are PERFECT.  Rodgers' time came a long time ago, and the Packers would be stupid to start Favre this year.

What's best for the Packers: starting an aging legend who is a shadow of his former self for two years TOPS and having to face Rodgers (who will leave if they start Favre) for the next decade, or kicking out Favre, possibly seeing him in 1-4 games before he retires, and having Rodgers win them games for the next decade?

  3. Bart Starr!  Seriously if this is an open and honest competition the coaching staff will do whatever is best for the franchise....after all it is their jobs on the line when they make their choice. They have to decide if Favre can put them over the top this year (doubt it) or whether in the best interest of keeping a winning team on the field longterm they might need to find out if Rodgers is the man, before he leaves via free agency. If Favre fails to win it all and Rodgers leaves after getting screwed out of the starting gig and goes elsewhere and has a very good career who pays the price? Not Favre.....the coach and/or GM. A lot for the team to think about, just because Favre has the better resume doesnt neccesarily make him the better choice. I am glad I am not Packer management!

  4. Farve would give them a better chance in 2008.....but Rodgers is their future. The Packers need to stop living in the past and start looking to the future. Let Farve GO

  5. Neither would give them a better chance it is about equal - It would really be a different if both Aaron and Brett got hurt and they had to go with the 3rd string QB-that would be ironic...After all this ..

  6. Favre, but I wish he would just go away.

  7. Favre. Everyone needs to quit talking about the future. It's always about now. No one can predict what any team will do in 1-5 years from now. Lets take a look at this past offseason for example. Did anyone at this time last year think that the Vikings or Cowboys would have made the moves they did? The point I'm trying to make is that any team can gain or lose any player due to trades or free agency at any time. Lets not forget how easy it is to lose a player to injury either. You never know how many players on your current roster will be there next year or in a few years so you always have to play for now and never the future. It's nice to say we're building for the future but that doesn't mean some other team won't make some crazy moves to stay ahead of the pack from one year to the next. The teams i mentioned didn't make moves to be the best in the league, they made moves to try to be the best in their divisions. They have to get past them first. It's always about now.

  8. Farve was undecided and the Packers wanted an answer so he probably thought, well its better to retire and come back rather then not retire and decide to hang it up later in camp...therefore i think he did the nicest thing in his and the packers interest

2nd of all the Packers would be idiots not to take back Farve, he's proven that he is one of the best in the history in the game and a proven winner. All rodgers has proven is he can get hurt, much unlike Brett.

If the packers had any intellect they would have taken him back a month and a half ago when Brett first started saying he wanted to play. But now they've dragged on the process and made it worst for everyone

Farve doesn't even need to know the plays, just if its a pass or run, cause he'll find an open receiver no problem

  9. Favre. and not only win, but have a chance at the superbowl.

  10. are you serious favre is so much better then rodgers

  11. Aaron Rogers,

  12. Aaron Rodgers because Favre is too old
