I am starting an SAT prep course next week. They're giving us one book but I want to supplement my study with other guides/techniques.

Suggestions?

  1. I would recommend you read this book Perfect 1600 score the 7 secerts of acing the SAT.  I got lucky and found this book at the dollar store.  It shows what the best does.  What books the read.  What sports they are in to their income.  Some kids were in public school others were in private school.  It has a list of books and methods used by these kids.  Now the test is 2400 and a little different.  The skills are about the same.

  2. I tried kaplan, and it didn't help me much. Then I tried the Princeton Review SAT guide, but I only increased my score by about 110 points with it. Then I got the tutorfox SAT guide http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html and increased my score by 320 points.

  3. I got the CollegeBoard Offical SAT book. it helped me ALOT.

i would definatley recommend it to anyone.

  4. 10 Real SATs I don't know if they still make that book or they are between editions.  It's a good one.  Also remember with the courses you get what you pay for.
