Without doubt Tom-Tom, easy to use, just plug it in and go.....When you say Ireland I presume you mean Northern Ireland which is part of UK or Southern Ireland which is not, If you want Southern Ireland you may need a Europe Sim card or CD

I got a TomTom 'One' several weeks ago - it's excellent, easy to use and full of features - any only £150 Inc. shipping on eBay!

i live in Cork, and i bought a garmin, with uk and ireland mapping, it gives very detailed mapping of all of ireland, even the south. its easy to use, just plug in and go, and reasonably priced.
