Which School, Public or Private is the best to choose?

Right now I go to a public school but getting used to it is going to be hard. But I can also choose to go to a private school but I'm afriad I'll lose touch with my old friends. I dont know which is the best choice. Please post your opinons.

i've been to a private school all my life, well actually its called a peripheral school or something lol.  But i am doing a whole lot better than my public school friends. I think you should go to a private school and make ur friends join a club or something so you will all stay in touch.  Both of the schools are good, but studies show private school kids do better because of many reasons.  If you notice the people who say public is better have only gone to public.  But then again i've only gone to private lol.

Private schools are immensly better. Go! It's the best thing for you and your future.

You'll only lose touch with your old friends if you don't put any effort in.

Anyway, you will make new friends.

I went to public and have many friends at private school. They've all done a LOT better. And they actually enjoyed school, and the extra curriculars, and trips out of the country. Wheareas a lot of my public school friends have nothing but bad memories from school, (awful teachers, white trash students, super large classes etc etc) and didn't do as well as they could've done.

Unless the public schools in your town are completely exceptional... GO to the private school.

I had the choice and i chose public school and fully regret it.

Go to public, but make sure it is a good one. For example, I am in public, but our grades our so good that we beat most private!  Also, if you get top of your class in public college will like that, but in a private school it will be harder and you will be lower ranked. Also, public is more fun and less boring!
