Which Scool code do i put on fafsa?

I know its early for Fafsa, but I'm am moving soon and not sure where and to which school I might be transfering to. When I fill fafsa in jan-feb can i put the school code to every school I might possible attend OR can I change my fafsa after I move AND must I be enrolled/registered with a school to put their code on my fafsa form? can I change my address and such after i submit fafsa form?

That should help.. and yes, you will want to put every school you may be attending. You will also be able to change the address. It's best to call the customer service line, they've explained some of the more confusing aspects to me!

No, I would NOT put every school you will possibly attend on your fafsa. You can do that, though it is NOT recommended. You don't want too many schools getting your information.

yes, you can change the school code on your fafsa once you move and get settled and decide on a school.

yes, you can change your address, phone number, drivers license number etc.... Basically, you can change ANY information on the fafsa EXCEPT for your social and your date of birth!!

If you need to change something, just go to the site and click on "Make Corrections to a Processed FAFSA" in column # 3 :)

Ok, to try to answer your questions in order:

When you fill out your FAFSA in January, you can put up to 10 school codes on it.

You can always go back and change what schools you have your FAFSA information sent to. Just make sure if you change them to give enough time for the new schools time to process your info.

No, you don't need to be enrolled or registered with a specific school to put them on your FAFSA. You DO need to be accepted in order for them to award you a financial aid package though. Some schools have started sending out tentative award packages to students who aren't accepted yet...sort of an incentive to them (basically saying "come to our school...we'll give you this much in aid"). Not very many have begun to do this, but a few. For the most part, you'll have to have applied and been accepted before a school will send you a financial aid award.

Yes, you can always change information such as addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. after you've filled out an submitted your FAFSA. That's not a problem at all. Again, just make sure you aren't changing things at the very last minute and you'll be fine!

You can list up to 10 schools on your fafsa.  Hopefully that will be enough.  If not, a few weeks after your application is process you can go back in and make corrections and delete a few codes and add new ones.  You do not have to be enrolled at a school to list them. Usually schools will not issue you a fin aid award letter until you have at least applied to the school.  Yes you can change your address after you submit your fafsa.  I would suggest you put an email address contact on your fafsa so you will get your results and all correspondence that way.

You can put the school code for every school you plan to attend, when you enroll to the school that you choose,they will have acess to your finacial aid status. You can also edit your fafsa after you move. You can change anything on the fafsa, address,ect.
