I'm psyched for a longboard and I want to do something surf-like while I'm not at the beach (and to walk my dog).

Basically what series or specific model would be best for hills, some carving, and cruising?

  1. you should get one of the sidewainder series because thy allow you to carve like 10 times harder. I got the techapoo without the sidewinder trucks but when i finally bought the sidewinder trucks you can feel a huge difference.

  2. I have the garuda super cruiser from there cosmic series... I use it to walk my dog almost everyday and I also use it to go to college and what not. If you like to cross step its the board for you but if you wanna shred hills (no hills in miami) you should get the sidewinder

  3. I have the sector9 uluwatu, its a 46" bamboo board, great flexibility, i bomb hills on that and it goes super fast.  Plus i have randall r-II 180mm trucks so its really stable.  go to www.daddiesboardshop.com it takes like 2 weeks for the board to arrive once you order, but thats my favorite site for longboard stuff.  but if you really want to bomb hills get sector9's hill series, like the goddess.

  4. yo i no that you want a sector nine and im not saying there bad but look into original longboards. They have springs in the trucks and carve like beasts.
