I am 6'3", male, US 12 size shoe/boot. I have a board that is shorter than my recommended height (reaches up to my neck). I plan to learn on this board, then later trade it in for a better one. I have a budget of around 400-500$. Like I said, I have my a shorter board to trade in, so I guess thats a bonus 100 bucks or so to my budget. Also, I want a decent quality board that I can use for tricks if I want to (A Burton would be sweet). Thanks!

  1. I have been riding my burton custom for 3 years, and this year they came out with a wide version of the custom for people with a little bigger feet, Sounds to me that the burton custom wide would be perfect for you and your size 12 feet.

  2. Hands down, Salomon.   I have owned 4 different brands of boards, I'm 30 years old and have been riding for nearly 20 years in Utah.   I will never own anything but a salomon.   I should add... If I absolutely HAD to buy something different it would be a Burton.

  3. all of burtons boards are really good, and mostly under 500 dollars. i suggest for freeride: the clash, custom and custom ICS. for freestyle: blunt, blunt primo (exclusive board, hard tof ind) and the shaun white (500$). use http://www.frostyrider.com/tips/size-gui... for sizing, because you didnt list your weight.

    good luck

  4. take a look at this one:

also, just look through the burton boards---they have a nice selection so you should be able to find something that suits you

  5. Burtons are not you're only option there's alot better boards out there. Try using this site to help you find the board for you
