  1. Unless you golf and get side tracked by anyone of the fabulous golf courses, you could do all three. - Get a driver. LOL Don't want you out there driving after ALL that wine tasting and you sure will want to taste them all.

Are you from S.A. or somewhere else? In Canada and other places you can buy S.A. wine so when you find one you like, find out what name it is sold under when it is exported so you can have a favourite taste of S.A. any time you want.

  2. http://allforyou.amstrad.at

you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  3. Been to all of them and I enjoyed Stellenbosch the most

  4. I would recommend Franschhoek to stay, but you can visit the other 2 as they are very close.  Franschhoek has a small town feel to it.. you can walk to all the cafes and all the hotels, b&b's have drivers, so very easy place to relax for a few days.  Enjoy the tastings!!

  5. FRANSCHOEK without a doubt, it is a lovely place.

  6. All of them is beautiful in it's own way  -  i liked then all

  7. Stellenbosch is the centre of the South African wine industry and has several world class wines. A good base to stay is the Spier wine estated on a two night stay at reduced rates.

You can then visit many wineries closeby including Ernie Els beautifully situated winery just a few kilometres away.

Franschoek and Paarl are close by and it is worth visting Fairview winery between Paarl and Stellenbosch home of the famous Goats Do Rome wines complete with the tower outside the front where their goats live.

Franschoek is the culinary centre of the area and has several outstanding restaurants and some amazing scenery driving up the moutain on the other side of town avoiding the baboons!

  8. My personal favourite is Franschoek but it all depends what you are going to do...

Franschoek - beautiful little town, but not a h**l of a lot to do IN TOWN - if you Flyfish then this is your spot

Stellenbosch - although it has a old town feeling it is quite modernised - it has all the amenities you need and there are a numbers of nightclubs, bars and restaurants - it is also one of the larger areas for Wine Farms, if you are looking to do more than just taste wine - Stellenbosch is for you...

Keep in mind though that Stellenbosch and Franschoek are relatively close together - so you can easily travel between the 2 - it takes about 30 - 40 minutes to get from Stellenbosch to Franshoek...

  9. Stellenbosch

Or hire a car and you can visit all 3 in one day, they are quite close to each other
