Which Sport is enjoyable or fun to watch? Tennis or basketball?

I am Filipino who loves watching both! but I'll give an edge to Tennis because simply it's my most favorite sport, I don't even know why because in the Philippines tennis is not that popular compare to other parts of the continent but I really LOVE IT!!! it's an all around sport using both mind and body

Tennis in my opinion because it shows the mental and physical skill of a player by himself. Basketball is a team sport and some of the players look like they couldn't care less about winning sometimes but in tennis they scrap for every point. Also you can't beat the grand slams like Wimbledon every year!

I'm also Filipino and I love tennis. You don't need an import to play in your team, unlike the Philippine Basketball Association.

Tennis all the way! It's more fast-paced and constant. The players don't stop for a time out after every 15 seconds of play like they do in basketball. Also, there is far more variety in playing styles in tennis. In basketball, like all team sports, every individual is assigned a task. In tennis, each player has to find a way to win on his own: each guy is like a one-man team so to speak. If Roddick is against Federer, he can't have Henman or Rafter do the volleying for him. Likewise, Karlovic can't enlist the services of Rafa Nadal to bail him out at the baseline. All-round adds up to tennis being a much more entertaining spectacle... at least in my opinion.

for me tennis is MORE ENJOYABLE AND FUN TO WATCH... i like also watching basketball.. im from the phil. too... basketball is very popular here... but i like to PLAY AND WATCH BADMINTON, VOLLEYBALL, AND TENNIS MOST!

Basketball bores me and all that gross sweaty bodies running into each other is so stinky gross. I can't watch it. Unless I'm there live, then it's exciting; but tennis is THE best!

1) What your personal preferences are

2) Who is playing

Basketball was great when Michael Jordan was around. Now I rarely watch it, mainly during playoffs. Tennis is also great when good players are playing.

I like playing tennis better, as I am much better. But when it comes to watching, basketball is more enjoyable as it is faster pace (this doesnt apply for someone that absoultely loathes basketball )
