Which Store Has nicer dwarfs hamsters (petco or petsmart) and why do dwarfs die in a few days?

my friend had 2 dwarfs but one died in 5 days? why is that?

and does petco or petsmart have nicer dwarfies

Go to the one your friend did not she probably got a sick one try googling on how to choose a healthy hamster and be careful to follow breed refrences you might want to look at other types dwarfs like other hammies not alone and not as people friendly teddybears ect. like to be alone with thier humans more again as always learn your pet research thier care P.S. this helps us old folks more convinced that you can care for it if you  through out words about the housing and care

i prefer petsmart but it really doesn't matter. dwarfs shouldn't die in a few days. your friend's was probably sick.

I'd say either does, but petsmart is probably a little cheaper. (only by a few dollars).

The dwarf died because of a sickness or something your friend did or gave to it. They live at least 2 years if healthy.

Dwarf hamsters don't die in a few days if they are taken care of.

Your friend might've gotten a sick one, so I'd be careful when choosing a hamster, to make sure it's healthy. No mucus in eyes or nose, bright eyes, curious and active, no patches of fur missing, etc.

I'd suggest not getting a hamster from petco or petsmart, because whenever I get hamsters from there they aren't tame whatsoever and bite the heck out of your hands. I'd suggest getting from a breeder or some sort of shelter, really.

Petsmart is slightly cheaper, but only slightly. Again, I'd suggest getting a hamster elsewhere. Usually they are handled from birth if you get it from a breeder, so they are used to people holding them. A biting hamster is no fun, and they usually take months to tame. That right there is a huge chunk of the dwarf hamsters life.

Also, keep in mind you cant just dive in there as soon as you get them and start playing with them - they need time to adjust to a new cage, and surroundings, as there is now a lot different sounds compared to a store ; so it could have died of shock?

Dwarf's are generally a lot healthier than youre average

Personally, I dislike pet stores like Petco and petsmart. Try looking at the humane societies and animal shelters in your area. They may have hamsters available for adoption.

If your friend's hamster died within 5 days, that is not normal. It was probably sick when she got it. When you get a pet, make sure to take it to the vet as soon as possible.
