Which Stream Of Water Will Shoot Farther?

okay for biology class he asked a question envolving how far water will squirt from a tube. it's just a normal water pipe thing and its got three holes in a vertical line with plugs in them. he's going to fill up the tube with water then take out the top plug and see how far the water shoots then the 2nd plug and fill it back up then finally the bottom plug.

which water stream would shoot the fartherst and why?

The lowest (bottom plug) - due to greater water height above that plug and hence greater pressure. So, water will leave with more force from the lowest plug and shoot the farthest.
