Cena knows barely any wrestling moves and is nothing but muscle, but somehow seems to find a way to "overcome the odds" and beat practically everyone with the use of maybe 3 or 4 moves, so I'd say Cena.

Same with Batista, but he seems more like Ultimate Warrior

Hogan from an ability or a charisma stand point?

Because I think The Rock already did it. And to be honest after the way  the Nick Hogan situation was handled. (Hulk promising to raise a fund for the comatose young man and not delivering; and the secret conversations that the police released to the media of Hulk caring only about his poor baby Nick and not the kid in a coma!!!) I can see that Hulk isn't half the man the Rock is. The Rock is very human and very likable. Hogan showed himself to be an insensitive prick.

And though Cody Rhodes and Ted DeBiase are playing as total jackazzes in 5-7 yrs they will be the business in the face of a declining cena and orton and hope to god shawn michaels isn't still wrestling by then.

cena is the new hogan

both have done steroids vince hides it.

both have very few moves and always win

both finishers suck and are overrated,

cena fu big show, hogan slammed andre the giant and wwe made out like they were the first people to pick them up. if my memory is right Brock is the first person to pick up big show and some Japan wrestler was the first to pick of Andra the Giant

Cena is Hulk Hogan. He is carrying the company on his merchandise and has a limited moveset as the Hulkster. All the matches end the same and the only difference is that Cena is not a bleached walrus. That title goes to Triple H.

There should have never been Hulk Hogan to begin with.  He sucked.

Cena is as close a pick as anyone, but I think WWE is shying away from long reigning champions again.  Cena is Mr. Upright and Good like Hogan was supposed to be.

If the criteria is having a gimmick with the shelf-life of 4 years but the company still think it can draw and run it into the ground even though the backlash of booing can be heard from row 60......I would say Cena or Hardy.
