  1. brick lain in EAST LONDON you ant geting better

  2. Birmingham ! I think it has the curry mile where along a mile of road there are loads of curry house! I think.

  3. Birmingham or Manchester I reckon

  4. NONE! lol. To be hones the restaurants are not that authentic. you will find places in southall and brick lane owned by indians/bangladeshis but not all of them have trained cooks. Some have often learnt the food as they worked here and there! I would recommend going anywhere where the restaurants are owned by Taj group which is one of the leading hoteliers in India. Their restaurants (bombay brasserie and quillon in london) at least have trained chefs from India who have followed extensive training in india!

  5. Birmingham Bradford manchester Chester

  6. I agree with Bradford.  I've only been there once, about 10 years ago in fact, and I've never stopped talking about the curry since.  It was truly amazing.

  7. Birmingham, honestly!

  8. a little place called Lye near stourbridge in the west midlands (not too far out of Birmingham) the high street is ALL curry houses (plus an off licence of course)big curry houses, little curry houses, modern decor, traditional decor, perfect service, c**p service, order of the menu or ask the chef to cook anything you fancy. all are family run and if you cant get you want there. it aint gonna happen!

  9. I would say Essex the Shanti Restaurant in Braintree is great. www.shantibraintree.co.uk

  12. Rusholme in Manchester is THE BEST place for curry, no question about it. The Curry Mile boasts something like 40 restaurants, as well as sweet shops and food stores. At night it's lit up like Vegas, and the air is thick with the sweet aroma of spices.

    Mmmm, curry :-)

  13. birmingham

  14. Chester has some really tasty curry houses

  15. Having been to the curry mile in Manchester, Brick Lane in London, and quite a few in Birmingham I would say Birmingham in my experience.

  24. Bradford. Look for the unprepossessing places with big formica tables, full of Asians stuffing their faces using naan bread, with no cutlery in sight. Best curry in the world.
