  1. That's a long-time Libertarian plank, but Bob Barr spent much of his life in anti-drug work, so who knows? now.

  2. Of all the ineffectual 'Wars on......', this one is the most useless.

I can picture a Congressman/woman - of any party and in the privacy of his/her 'country retreat' - plannning how to 'fight the War on Drugs' while smoking a doobie, or taking a deep sniff of something.

While Americans use (illegally?), this 'War' is futile, and they are not going to stop 'using' soon.

    Legalise, Educate, Regulate and TAX!

  3. neither dems or repubs will both are bought paid for by the people who profit off of the 'war on drugs'

  4. La Raza is tired of fighting over drugs. No mas.

  5. We will never win the war on drugs. If drugs cannot be kept out of prison, where every inch of prisoners' lives are searched and drugs are still popular, then we will never win the war. The drug war is a scam and a failure and I hope people realize that and vote people into power where the drug war will be DEMOLISHED.

  6. the dems probably

  7. I guess that would be the Republicans, since they handed over the entire opium crop of Afghanistan to the Uzbek & Afghan warlords who helped them fight the Taliban. Didn't hear that one on Fox did you? The Taliban did many terrible things, but one of their few successes was to eradicate the opium harvest, believing it to be against the priciples of Islam. In fact, the Swiss UN spokesman in Kabul described it as a modern miracle-they had achieved in a few months what western government had beent trying to do for years. As part payment for their aid in fighting the Taliban, warlords from Uzbekistan & northern Afghanistan were handed control of the entiire opium crop, with the result that all 26 provinces capable of growing opium are currently doing so, and the opium harvest is now bigger than ever.

  8. America will never end the war on drugs.  We will fight it to the edge of the cliff of financial ruin.  We never learned the lesson of Prohibition, and are doomed to repeat that mistake endlessly.

  9. Libertarians and greens. The duopoly strongly supports the illogical prohibition
