While Nagasu and some girls aren't eligible, who are going to World?

Will it create a controversy if Meissner goes?

  1. I see no controversy with Meissner being one of the most eligible and promising skaters for Worlds.  She IS a world champion just two seasons ago!

So she had a poor national show, so has every skater!  It is obvious she is talented enough to take on the younger skaters.

I think the choice was a smart one to send Meissner, Wagner, and Liang.  All have shown their strengths and ALL are worthy to represent the US.

And the men will also be fantastic!  I am loving this fierce rivalry between Weir and Lysacek, because I believe it is making both of them in to stronger, more exciting skaters.

And Belbin/Agosto are, I think, very strong contenders for a Worlds dance title!!

  2. BeBe Laing , Ashley Wagner and Kimmie Meissner

These are the strongest, most experienced skaters of eligible age to attend. No real controversy...they pick the most likely to place well and even though Kimmie had a BAD day today, she still is more of a sure thing than other newcomers.

  3. They USFSA will make a team of girls who are eligible to go who they think should go, they should make an announcement when it is official decision is made. I think Meissner can be a good skater though she seems like she has days that are on and off, as far as making a controversy over it, I don't know.
